What began as a bold 1980s remodel was ready for a modern reset. The client wanted a calming, simplified space that better reflected their current lifestyle — and offered a layout that made more sense for daily use.
The original bathroom, a spacious but irregular pentagon, presented layout challenges that left usable floor area underutilized. We reimagined the plan to make the most of the geometry, enlarging the shower with future accessibility in mind and framing the soaking tub with a bold accent wall.
A monochromatic palette of black and white brought balance and calm to the space, while large-format marble and porcelain tiles helped visually streamline the layout. Custom touches — including a black vanity and bespoke lighting fixtures — added contrast, comfort, and a personal point of view. The result is a refreshed retreat that feels grounded, generous, and thoughtfully tailored for years to come.
